Handcrafted words for the heart and soul.
Reflection has always been part of my everyday life. Long before I began putting my thoughts on paper, I would spend time thinking about my experiences and what they were teaching me.
Through Joy in Poetry, I began giving those thoughts a place to live.
Sometimes they become a poem. Other times, they become a few simple lines or a longer reflection. Writing gives me a way to express what I feel and put into words the things I am beginning to understand.
There is joy in finding the words that feel true to me—in reading them back and recognizing a little piece of myself.
Sharing my writing is personal. These words come from a life I am still living, with more to experience, learn, and write about.
I write because it brings me joy, and because some thoughts feel worth keeping—and sharing with you.
